If she is not writing, making little experimental films, folding origami paper boxes or cutting wood, she is conjuring up more crazy ideas and planning wild antics.
Born and raised along the El Paso/Juarez border, Gabriela brings a multicultural sensibility to her short stories, finding humor and beauty in somewhat dark spaces. She is the writer of “Legumes: A Collection of Very Short Stories.” Her writing has been published on Aquifer: The Florida Review Online and Hobart Pulp.
